library and Information Science: Bibliography
Susan E.
Searing
This section
includes classic bibliographies in library science, arguably of interest only
to readers seeking a comprehensive view of the field over time or at a
particular point in its history. Also described here are more recent
bibliographies on an assortment of specialized topics. As in most disciplines,
fewer and fewer specialized bibliographies are being published in LIS, due to
the ease of conducting tailored subject searches in online databases and
digital repositories. See Library and Information Science > General
Works > Indexes; Abstract Journals; Databases for the tools to create your own bibliography.
